How to use Inbox Zero to never miss a message again

How often have you sat down at your desk to respond to clients only to be distracted by other items in your inbox?

Have you ever gotten a text message during dinner from a client and forgot to respond? 

When was the last time a client asked you for some information but wasn't convenient at the time?  

Did you ever want to give your client a longer response, but knew if you didn’t respond right then you never would?  

Or my least favorite… 

Have you ever had a client show up for an appointment only to realize that you didn’t respond to them?  

I dread the last one so much that writing this makes me sick.  My clients and yours too are very important people in our lives.  As a coach, these relationships are more than just paying for services.  These are your people, these are people that share wins, losses, and everything in between with you.  Because of that, you want to provide them with the best service possible.   

How can you never miss a message?  How can you make sure you handle all of your client’s needs by end of your working day?

From time to time I will hear coaches say that their clients are messaging them everywhere, but not it the app.  My response is:  ‘Teach them where to communicate with you.’  As coaches, we need to teach our clients where the communication should be happening

For a NEW client: 

"Going forward all of our communication will be through my app, this way I will never miss a message from you!"

On Social Media or Email: 

"Hey! Shoot this over in the MyCoach App (or your branded app name) so I don’t miss out on giving you all the info you want!"

"Hey! I want to keep all of our coaching communication on the app! You will find my response there."
