Case Study – Holly Rigsby

Today we have a fun case study with our good friend Holly Rigsby.

If you have not had the opportunity to meet Holly in person before, she is one of the
most engaging, charismatic coaches we have met and has built an amazing tribe of moms.

Holly started her online coaching business over a decade ago with a simple fitness ebook - Fit Yummy Mummy.

Back then it was just a simple downloadable PDF. There were no videos or any other engagement but Holly was ahead of the curve. She knew she didn’t want to just sell more ebooks but wanted to make sure all of her ladies knew what the heck they were supposed to be doing - and actually doing it!

Nowadays, Holly is still working with those beautiful moms but her business is much, much more than just a simple fitness ebook.

She moved from ebooks to a 21 Day VIP Program where her clients got 21 days of coaching directly from her. She introduced the social concept by allowing everyone to interact within a google group and it exploded!

They loved the connection and coaching they were receiving and pretty soon she had over 3,000 members in her group.

Like usual, Holly says it better than I ever could, “The community aspect of what I provided back then has just grown and it's really become the heart of what I do. It's great that I can pump out all these workout programs, but it's truly about the accountability and the encouragement and support. And more important, connection. That is the difference maker to someone sticking to it and getting results.”

This was working great but there was still one struggle she was dealing with.

“Since my business is all online and I have zero real time or face to face interaction with my people. It was a struggle for me using my online forums to be able to at a glance see what everybody was up to. I usually would block off time to login to my membership site and see because they would certain assignments that they'd complete and they're encouraged to post their updates. And I was only able to get through a small fraction because it's just so time consuming. It was just a big struggle for everybody to be seen and supported, encouraged and get the feedback that they needed. So that in turn negatively affected my retention rates because only those who did get the responses were the ones who were like ‘Yay me!’ The other ones were like ‘she doesn't even notice so I'm just gonna disappear.’ “

She tried a few different things but nothing could fully solve her problem.

“I found that using email was not effective at all. It just made my inbox flood.”

Then she was introduced to Coach Catalyst!
