What’s Coming in 2019
2018 was a great year for Coach Catalyst! We took a step in the right direction and put some great foundations in place to be successful in the future.
But there is plenty we still want to accomplish to make sure Coach Catalyst is the best coaching software out there.
This is a quick post about what to expect in the coming months as well as where we see CC going in the future.
What’s coming first…
One of the very first things we’ll be addressing in the new year is programs. Specifically, making them easier to create, more powerful as well as more flexible to fit how you want to coach.
When we started a couple years ago, we created the platform to be daily. This means daily habit check-ins as well as daily lessons.
As we’ve dove deeper into the coaching world, we’ve realized that this isn’t always ideal. There are plenty of instances where having non-daily check-ins and lessons makes a lot of sense. Instead of always trying to work around the daily restriction, we’ll be eliminating it completely. This will give you more flexibility to create the type of program you want.
Speaking of check-in’s, we’ve also always had the check-in come the following morning. While this is great for certain types of questions, it led to confusion from both coaches and clients.
We’ll be changing habits around to just be daily actions. Whenever it’s completed, the client can check it off and inform you that they’re done. This will also lead into more gamification and instant gratification for clients – which will increase compliance.
As you can see, this is a HUGE project and completely changes how the platform operates. Because of this, we aren’t expecting it to be complete until the end of Q1 or mid-Q2. We’ll keep you updated on our progress as we go!
Enhancements
Once we complete our program overhaul, there are a few other enhancements coming down the pipeline:
- Improving the coach-client relationship with video and audio messaging.
- Better reporting off of client compliance as well as metrics/photos.
- More integrations with other softwares to help pull in more data.
While these are some of our main objectives, there will be plenty of other small tweaks, additions and improvements. As always, any insight you have into how we can help you change more lives is welcome.
